Hey All,

Just stumbled across this forum/site and thought I'd say Hi! I've had a Cosmonaute for about 6 months now, and I absolutely love it.

(Apologies for the slightly fuzzy pic!)

Anyway - "Hi!" :)

Does that look gorgeous or what :D :D

I love 24 hour watches and have a couple of them, (not Breitlings though :( ). Far easier to tell the time with them than many people think. :)

Man I suck at telling army time, therefore I will never purchase a 24 hr timepiece. :(

Once you get used to it - it's great!

Hour hand in top "half" of watch - it's dark.
Hour hand at top - time for bed
Hour hand at the usual "3" position/90 degrees - 6am - time to (think about trying to) get up
Hand at bottom - lunchtime
Hand at "9"/270 degrees - time to go home!

There's nothing more elegant than a whole day on a watch face ;)

(and very handy on long flights - I flew Singapore to Amsterdam last week and it was dark all the way - nice to know when it's morning or night!)

It's not that difficult.

I had to learn it in flight training. It's not tough.

Hey Flynbyu,

What do you fly? are you commercial? I myself am a lowly 70hr PPL - the B'ling is overkill, but what the hell - the 10 minute intervals are handy for the FREDAs!

Keep the shiney side up!

:)

I have logged time in several models of aircraft. C152, 172, 182, 182RG, Cherokee 140, Mooney M20E, Beechcraft A23, Piper Cheyenne II, C421, T-6 Texan, and the best hour of my life in an L39 Albatross. I'm not a commercial rated pilot. If I ever decide to jump to a CFI/CFII I'll have to of course.

I'll be sure to keep the shiney side up! You do the same. Just remember, Anything you walk away from is a good day of flying.
