I started to post over in the “eye-candy” Gallery section before I noticed this Introduction forum here.

I’ve been an admirer from a far for quit some time, and decided to take the plunge this Christmas purchasing my wife a Breitling Windrider Starliner. Lucky for me, she purchased a Breitling Professional Airwolf for me. Well we actually threw each other a bunch of hints about what we wanted, but it was a surprise that we each purchased for each other!

Now it seems I’ve really been bit by the bug, as I just purchased the Breitling Aeromarine Superocean.

I’m slowly trying to convert all of my flying buddies over to “LING Land”, as it seems they are currently all stuck on the GMT II from Rolex. Sucks to be them, as all of the hot chicks at the FBO’s seem to notice a nice LING before a GMT!

I used to feel like a big shot when the girls behind the counter at the FBO would make a comment about the plane you are walking out to, or coming in from.

But it does make the LING purchase all that much more worth it, when you catch them looking at your wrist, while signing for the fuel bill and then after a few minutes they say, "Excuse me, is that a Breitling you have on?"

A very warm welcome!

Good luck in converting your friends - most Lings will definitely outshine the Rolexes...

My Navi-World gets noticed a lot more than my Submariner....In this part of the country, there aren't many who know what Breitling is. They tend to ask "Is that a Rolex!?" "No, it's a Breitling, but I own one of those too." Then you must explain to the lower end of the gene pool what your Breitling does....It helps to explain it like their third grade teacher would have.

I think the B-ling gets noticed just due to the polished shine and size. It tends to stick out in the crowd when you wear a wall clock on your wrist!

It won't take long for your pals to switch, especially when they see how functional the Breitling line is with aviation.
