Is this 806 the real thing, with small white sub faces and beads of rice bezel from 1963. I will go to see it if you think it is genuine,
Many thanks for your help,
David D

Nothing coming up for me under that item number. However, based on your small pictures it looks genuine.

Edit: found it on eBay.co.uk. Justin Koullapis' and Kurt B's table suggests that there was an overlap of beaded bezels and reverse-panda dials between 1963 and 1964. Markings on the slide rule and minute-totaliser sub dial are quite worn, most of the lume is missing, the case is crisp but a little chewed up, and the movement looks like it needs a service; however, the watch certainly looks to be in original condition.

Thank you so much, and so quick.
May well be worth a trip to Rugby from the South Coast shortly,
Very best wishes

add that the seller can take perfectly clear photos of the back and movement, but not of the dial. Wonder why. The subdials look heavily scratched or marked to me. It is a rare configuration, but i wouldn't buy a watch with a dial like that. Just my opinion.
