I am speculating , but I would say it does have several some issues. I can’t recall a copper coloured Breitling dial before (although there is a ref 176 on google images), the pushers and crown are wrong, and the lug design (IMO) doesn't really match the up/down dial layout in style. I also guess I would have expected a venus 175 in there, and that not what I think that is - but im not a "movement guy" to be fair. Lastly, the bridge and plates are finished with Côtes de Genève stripes, so definite no go for me on this piece.

Too much wrong with this one to think it's genuine. As mentioned above the copper dial is a problem and the 'Breitling script on the bridge is wrong. The Venus 170 would be correct but appears to be a later version. The crown and pushers are laughable.

This was the only pic of the case back on the posting. I've requested pics of the inside of it as well, but no reply.
