Hello all, i am looking to get into the ownership of a breitling however i dont know much about fake vs original identification. there is one on ebay that i really like see link below. is this fake or original and how do you guys tell ? https://www.ebay.ca/itm/312680850221?ul_noapp=true i also found a russian website with something that looks similar when i did the conversion in terms of money it seemed to be a fake see below https://time-expert.com.ua/breitling/55 ... graph.html can anyone in their wisdom please advise ? |

Sorry, but this is obvious fake - for starters, chrono subregisters are all wrong and manufacturing quality is awful. No AR coating on the crystal as evident in photos. This is bad fake and easy to spot. If you put Breitling A12322 in Google you'll get picture of original and then just compare the looks of subdials on original and that one on Ebay. Here is the original: https://www.breitlingsource.com/watch_d ... er_55.html BTW it says that ref is A24322 on the case back which is even more wrong than A12322 BTW2 while we are at subject, on the Russian site you linked, you can easily see that rubber strap is not original because it has particles of dust on it. It indicates that its made of silicone while original straps are made of real rubber and they don't attract dust |
