Heres another one up for auction, it seems mostly nice but I'm not sure I can get past the smudgey lume on the 12. What is the cause of this? I see it on a few of the 806's that come up. Does anyone see any other problems?

Thanks as ever for your advice.

you should be patient, and not buy one where the lume is all black. Not as attractive as one that has nicely aged tritium.

Yes that's wise advice as always, unfortunately the nicer ones do command a premium and usually at a fixed price and not for auction, but its true there is no hurry so I will keep waiting!

The alternative view is that the black lume ones sell at a discount....
