Post subject:  Need some help with my Breitling

Hello,

I am new to this forum, so let me introduce myself. I am 21 years old and I am studying for watchmaker. I currently own one Breitling, The ref. 2110. I got a question about the dial of this watch. When I am searching the ref. 2110 I see a dial with long indexes but not mine version with the short indexes. I am also thinking that the hands belong to a 2110 with white dial.
Who can give me some more info on this watch?

Greetings

(the 4th pic is the watch when it was given to me, after that i got the 2110 a new glass)

Thank you for your reply! I've been searching and saw a few of them. But the dial with the long indexes is the most common I think..?

Looks a bit strange that the is dial much smaller, but great watch.

Nice. An unusual and rare dial but usually paired with white and orange hands.
Black and orange seen with white dial combination.

Thanks everybody for all the help! I hate the fact that the hands are most likely not original... is there someone who knows where I can order the white hands? @dom87 what do you mean with " that the dial is much smaller"

Look like that the dial is smaller than the case, but seem to be correct

The white orange hands, with closed tips, can be picked up on eBay from time to time. There are some for sale on there now.

Open ended hands, like the ones on the watch in Renes (Dracha) picture, are much more difficult to find but do come up on eBay too. In fact I remember seeing some for sale recently. They might still be available.

An easy thing is to get a watchmaker to paint the inner black part of the hands white. They can do a good job.
