I'm assuming the dial is not correct. Is it an avi dial that had been overpainted? Case back unmarked. What exactly do we have here?

Did you buy that? Was watching and thought it was a reasonable price. Of course, now that I have said that I will be told that it is far from original and worth only for parts

No, looks wrong to me. Dial looks like it's been detailed with a black marker, but I recall something similar in the past.

the earliest Yachting dials had that „home made“ look - strange, but we saw quite a lot of those.

but these dials need lume tip sweep hands and thin baton subdial hands, not the rabbit ear hands we see here.

so not totally correct - but relatively minor issues, as, with a bit of patience, hands can be found.

great price !

I remember you commenting about 1 before saying it was correct. Still looks a bit of a car crash! Unmarked caseback to this as well. Should the dial have thrisgle over the 12?

lume tip minute subdial is correct for these dials.
agree re the car wreck, this is one of the worse examples.

its the wrong dial for the case
the wrong hands for the dial

its a mix - match watch , you'll need to have a lot of patience to find the correct parts (dial , hands etc) and there will be a lot of people fighting you for those parts as well

What I posted above. Not sure about the lume triangle over the 12 but maybe that 765 vs 7650.

Just noticing this is exactly the same piece on google images that was previously for sale with European Watch Co in Boston. Can't find another example there anyway.

we‘ve seen two variations of the Mk1 7650 Copilot Yachting, all have a lume tip sweep and a red minute counter hand with lume arrow tip.

here’s an early Mk1 with the Yachting design seemingly added to a regular 7650 dial, with the lume indexes in the minutes subdial still present.

and here a later Mk1 with a „mass produced“ Yachting dial, lume indexes at 3/6/9/15 removed.

Haha. This is great. I completely thought the subdial issue was a re-dial.

Nice to learn another variation on these.
