Hello,

Shopping in New York City, I stumbled across this vintage breitling. I honestly don't know much about it, and the salesmen didn't offer much info. I can't find anything online that has lugs like that.

Thanks,
Gdw

total fabrication, no similarities to any vintage Breitling model.

Rene, could that be one of the mid 1980s re-issues ?

Looks a lot like a ref 795. I don't think I'd discount it completely without a look at the back. Might be just a redial.

agree, René, but we see several examples of "incorrect" or imprecise drawings in the early catalogs, would love to see a caseback shot, this is a "high grade" case, not your typical Fakeling

There were a lot of these style cases in the late 1940's to early 1950's and there are often small case differences and dial differences within the same reference number. Could be production changes, different suppliers, or the inaccuracy of catalog pics, but usually a glimpse at the back or inside will clear things up.
