A friend of mine have this old clamshell chronograph. The crown fell off and was replaced at last service, we know that. The hands have lume, looks newer? Any thoughts or input on this piece? Can't find much information. Redial, painted? Valuable, rare?

Many thanks in advance! 8)

at least a reprinted dial and I doubt this started its life as a Breitling
time period correct I'd expect script 'Breitling'

By identifying the owner of swiss patent n° 139190 , we would find the birthname of this watch ... and it would not be Breitling ...

case is a Schmitz Freres patent, used by many brands, same patent also used for the Gallet Flight Officer - should be leading 18 though, not 13.

Thanks for all the answers. So the conclusion is common case used by many brands, redail/fake dial, and birthname might or not might be a Breitling at all?
