This Cosmonaute 809: https://www.ebay.com/itm/152599591307

Aren't the hands, and bezel wrong? Shouldn't an all black 809 have a wide bezel and syringe hands?

Thanks.

Hands are incorrect
bezel can either be wide or 'normal' ., from what I have seen all 1962 809's had the wide bezel (both the reverse panda and the all black) and the 1963 809's had the narrow bezel (both the reverse panda and the all black)

if the dial is all black it has (needs to have) the syringe hands

It's scary rare, maybe the rarest of them all. For sure rarer then the all black 62' Wide Bezel.

not sure I agree with that ? all four models (the all black 62 and 63 and the rev panda 62 and 63) are equally rare in my opinion

but whoever bought it will have a hell of a time finding the correct hands as the 806 syringe hands are not right , they are a different lenght and the hands that are on there now (hour , minute and chronosweep) are obviously incorrect as well

You don't have to agree, but my observations is based on 15 years of intensive collecting, and on the numbers of respective watches I have seen & bought.

That clearly shows, that both the all black & black/white 63' versions are much rarer then respective 62' ones.

I have actually yet to find a 100% original & unrestored 63' all black version in collectible condition, and I have found 5 62' ones...!!!!
