Post subject:  Authentic Chronomat?

I'm beginning investigations into getting a Chronomat, and am trying to become acquainted with the likely clues to spot a fake. I've seen this gold plated 808 on a UK auction site, unfortunately only these two pictures. What do you think? Should there be an 808 engraved on the back?

Thanks for your assistance.

Dial and case looks good. The 808 may have been polished off the case back.

I'd request pics of the movement and inside of the case back to look for the appropriate serial and get an idea of condition on the movement.

Nothing worst than thinking you got a great deal on a watch only to find you have to replace half of a junk movement.

I'm in the market for a SS 808 myself. But I'm specifically looking for the later execution with the lume outside of the hour markers. Less common than I wouldve thought to be honest.
