Post subject:  806 Navitimer verification and general questions

I had posted a beautiful Chronomat 769 previously that WatchFred gave his opinion on. Unfortunately I was a little late to pick it up and have turned my attention to a 806 Navitimer instead. I have seen the following watch available (and just fallen in love with the patina and all round look of it):

http://www.worldoftime.de/en/breitling/.60-15351.html

I have read some conflicting things about the Seller, but generally positive.

I have attached some additional pics of the movement and case. The serial number is 825.XXX which would date it to 1953 (but as I have read the consensus appears to be that these watches were produced approx. 1960).

My questions for the experts are thus:

1. I don't see any issues with authenticity, am I right?
2. The condition is not great, but all 1953 (aka 1960) versions appear to be in similar condition. Thoughts and is there a reason for this - or just coincidence?
3. I have read a number of articles that say that the 1953 serial numbered watches appear to have been produced in 1960, but have failed to state the underlying reasons how this conclusion is reached - I ask from a purely inquisitive perspective as the history fascinates me(I have also become an obsessive "bead" counter of late - this one is 93).

look forward to your thoughts!

Found the above which explains question 3 above, but anything additional would be welcome.

1: seems authentic
2: "perfect beauties", i.e well preserverd dials, good sliderules and most of all beautifully aged Radium are rare on all the vintage Navitimers - watches weren't waterproof and most did not age well if they didn't end up as safe queens or were only worn very carefully and in very low humidity areas.
huge premiums paid for true beauties, but this is in average/decent condition, really not bad.

Thanks as always for the input WatchFred.

As mentioned I have sort of fallen in love with the patina and the "1953" controversy. Ultimately I just like the watch more than others I have seen, so lets see what happens.

Is this not the same watch discussed earlier?

They have different serial numbers 825 393 (the one I'm considering) v 825 345 (at Superlativetime).

i understand that.

I was aiming at "the seller statement that the watch is from 1953"
