Hello Sirs,

I'm very excited to be a part of this community and this is my first post.
I need help with identifying ref./model of this vintage top time.
I bought this from e-bay europa, at first I was pretty sure that this is an original Vintage Breitling Top Time ref. 2011 with Valjoux 7730 clock work, which is very reare and appeared in japanese market back to 60s-70s (please see attached pictures)
but I couldn't find more references or informations on the internet even from the Breitling Museum website ( http://www.breitling-museum.com ).
However this model is almost identical to Ref. 2011 but not exactly.
I'm posting this here because I'm not sure now if it's a Franken or not..

Thank you in advance.

Thank you very much WatchFred.
very sad to hear that... but the clock work should be original, right?
Is this then worthless?

I see.. I don't have confidence in this watch now.
What would you do with a Franken watch? I'm thinking about sell this as spare/replacement parts.
What a mistake.. I better be more becareful next time.

Thank you Sir,

You would have to find a correct TopTime case . As your dial +hands are for the goldplated version, you can see here the correct versions ... either 2004 or 2009

@saabreit - Thanks a lot. That would also be an option but where can I find the breitling case beside e-bay? I don't see it comes along often.
Could I say that this watch is 70% from ref. 2004 ? What I need to comeplete this is only the gold round case?

@WatchFred - Good to know it now. I always use this site as references.
Could you please tell me, from which website I can get the correct guide about vintage breitling? Is there any besides this great forum?

cheers!

Hello,

I talked to the seller about this issue and returned the watch. Now I got my full refund back.
Please be aware if the seller would resell this watch again sometimes.
Thank you very much for your help!
