I recently purchased this Breitling chronograph from the 40s. I don't have much info on it and I'm hoping my impulse buy wasn't a complete disaster. If anyone could give some insight on the watch it'd be greatly appreciated

I am afraid it did not begin its life as a Breitling ... Caliber described as a Venus 176 looks like a Landeron caliber .

no Breitling ref. number, no period correct serial number, not a Breitling
