Looks like a real Chrono-matic to me

yes, sliderule, subdials and (most probably, bad pic) caseback are quite correct for a vintage piece from the late 1960s,
though hands might be replacements, have not seen those on the early Cal.11s

Real from the early '70s for me, going by the dial/hands.

Don't know anything about the movement.

Sharkmouth, movement is a Cal.11, used in the early Chrono-Matic pieces starting in 1969, replaced by the gilded Cal.12 in the early 1970s.
would need to see a serial number to date the case, but - potentially - replaced hands would be a very minor issue.

Nice piece. Should be a 69 with an 11 I would expect.

I dont understand why the hands would be a replacement ?

looks similar (the same ?) to this '69 , or am I missing something ?

Rene, I thought these hands did appear a bit later w/ the GMT, so would not fit a rather early Cal.11, but a) I might be wrong (most probably  ), or b), hands might be service replacements ?

maybe you're not wrong Fred, I just checked the '69 catalog and see a diff set of hands as well

the '69 I used to have had partly polished bezel , where the 1 in the catalog and the auction has an all black bezel
might be transitional ?, i'll do some searching and digging

but here are some more '69/'70 examples with the same hands

The images aren't very clear (at least I take the seller's word for the "11" on the bridge), but the hands and red numerals on the date wheel suggest circa 1971 and after version. To my imperfect eye, the bezel looks re-painted to all black, since it I doubt one could reproduce the correct bi-color later bezel. Maybe I should open both eyes . . .
