Hi, can anyone please help me confirm or deny that the following Breitling is real? I have tried to research this through many different sites but to no avail.
It is a vintage watch with white face. Has slim straight minute and hour hands. The hours are not numbered but just straight lines with the 3,6,9, and 12 being 2 straight lines. Under the 12 there is the breitling "B" emblem and under that it says " BREITLING " and under that it says " GENEVE ".
Above the 6 hour mark it says " 17 JEWELS ".
" ANTIMAGNETIC "
" SHOCK PROTECTED "
At the either side of the 6 hour it says " SWISS ", " MADE "
On the back it says around the perimeter " STAINLESS STEEL ", " WATERPROOF ", " INCABLOC ", " ANTIMAGNETIC ", " SWISS MADE "
And in the lower half has the numbers what look like " 119 5 " it's difficult to tell if a number should be in the space as the watch does have wear and marks.
On the inside on the movement it is clear to see the jewels and At the top of the movement it says " SWISS " and at the bottom it says " 17 JEWELS ".
There is no markings on the inside of the back cove.
I would have uploaded pics but can't seem to do it.
I hope you can help
Many thanks

We need to see pictures, preferably of dial, inside and outside of caseback and movement.

.jpg files up to 200k can be attached directly to your posts and instructions for larger files are here - viewtopic.php?f=5&t=453

The dial appears to be a redo, unmarked movement and back cover would lead me to believe it's a fake. Should also have a six digit serial number if a genuine Breitling from this era.

would the movement of this era be as this one is?

I think that this is a modern dial on an older no name watch. Can't really see what the movement is so can't comment on whether Breitling would have used it.
