Hi, i have been offered this watch on Ebay from a seller from Argentina for roughly £195.
I was told it may be from around the 1940's.

I wanted to get some information regarding the model and the age and roughly how much it is worth.

Thank you!

I believe it is fake. Don't buy it.

Movement, case and face are not from any Breitling model that I recognize.

Thanks for your reply. I will question the seller.

If anyone else out there can also put forward any more information about this watch it would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you

So many problems with this that it's tough to know where to start. Suffice it to say that nothing here began life in Breitling's factory and you should avoid Argentinian sellers at all costs. Same goes for pretty much all of South America and China.

Post subject:  S. America....

Lucky guy - checking this site before you paid for it. Ebay sellers from S. America post at least 10 fakes (many others besides Breitling) a day and ebay does nothing about it! DO NOT EVER consider another vintage watch from that part of the world. There are others to avoid but S America for sure.
