Once again, I can't thank you enough. I think I will keep on an eye on the price of this one. I like the black/white combination.

Best regards,

Mike

Hi again,

What do you think of this one?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Excellent-Vintage-Breitling-Navitimer-AOPA-806-Chronograph-/330619412853?pt=Wristwatches&hash=item4cfa73e175#ht_3519wt_956

It is more modern that what I was originally looking at but I like it very much.

Thanks,

Mike

Crown's a replacement, serial dates to 1967. It looks OK to me, has the correct outer sliderule for a 67, has the WOG import code on the balance cock, looks like quite a nice example.

:yeahthat would try to have the crown replaced, but nice piece. seller is not one of the friendliest people on earth, but solid track record.

This is your second ! that 18k Premier from Switzerland you found is a very, very nice piece too !

Maybe you should take over the purchasing department of the Durner FrankenFake Superstore, you would have the fakes out of there in no time ! It really only takes a little patience and persistence (and a love for vintage watches) to educate yourself, most fakes and frankens will then just "jump at you" the moment you see them.
