Hi, guys, how are you?

I am new here in the forum and I have this Breitling I would like to sell but I do not have much information. The box is in steel and gold plated and is in very good condition.

What do you think about the watch and its value?

If I had more information on this watch, I would appreciate it.

Cheers

because everything is wrong about this watch, badly faked dial in a design and inscriptions they never used, a case never used by Breitling, a movement never used by Breitling, no reference or serial number. pathetic fake, not a single part of this watch ever came near a Breitling workshop.

Not that he needs any validation of course but just saying everything that after says is correct. Sadly a fake watch.

Honestly, I have no reason to believe it's a fake watch. This watch is from the 50's and was bought from the original owner's family.
I do not have much information on the watch nor am I an expert in vintage Breitling but I have seen photos of BreitlingĀ“s watches very similar to this model.

If anyone can help me with more information about this watch, i appreciate because I'm pretty sure it's an original model. The only thing that is not original in the photos is the bracelet of course.

Every Breitling, without exception, from the 1930's through the 1970's will have a six or seven digit serial number which will translate to the date of manufacture. That Landeron movement has never been used in a genuine Breitling. The obviously redone dial would indicate to anyone, with just the rudimentary knowledge of watches, that there's reason to look deeper. You can't always trust watches that have been handed down from family as the facts can get muddled over the years passed from person to person. You won't find a better knowledge of vintage Breitling's than on this forum. We have an old saying; you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink.
