Hello,

I have had this watch for a long time and believe it is time to sell it. it is not in the greatest condition as evidenced by the photographs. I believe it will need a complete service and a new band. I am asking $ 2000.00 or best offer.

Does it say either 809-36 or 809E on the back?

Thanks.

I don't like to be the bearer of bad news but the 809-36 has the Valjoux 7736 movement (so does the 809 E) and not the Venus 178. On one hand, the 809-36 is rarer but, on the other hand, the movement is much simpler.

You can also clearly see that the movement is a 7736 and not a Venus.

I apologize for the mistake, it is not my intention to deceive anyone. I am not an expert but for some reason I thought it was a venus. In any case my ad does say obo, so do not be afraid to make an offer.
