All:
I have a brand new never worn Breitling Navitimer World with silver face and brown croc strap for sale. I was able to purchase the watch at cost and am willing to pass along the watch at a slightly increased price. The watch was purchased from an authorized dealer and has all the paperwork, certificates, etc. I also have the receipt with the purchase date to show that the watch was purchased TODAY July 27, 2012. If you would like, feel free to give me a call and you can either confirm this with the jewelry store or we can meet in person at the store if you live in or near Birmingham Alabama.

$5550

I can be contacted at 205 422 six six zero 9

As a brand new member I would suggest that pictures will help your cause.

I would, but it is literally still at the jewelry store. I am leaving it up there until I am ready to sell so I don't tempt myself into keeping it. If needed, I can go by the jewelry store and take pictures, but when I say the thing is new I mean it has never seen a wrist

Well good luck with sale then, I think that you're going to need it here!

If you want ANY chance of selling it, you will need pics of the watch, box, paperwork, receipt and the watch with your screen name on a piece of paper.

Just the voice of experience speaking.

Take delivery of the watch, take good pics of everything, including proof of life (newspaper, piece of paper with date on it and your username). Then post your sales ad.

Either do the above or just have the AD give you your money back and run along.

I suggest this sales thread be deleted or at least locked until things are presented properly..

How about posting a watch for sale that the "seller" doesn't have physical possession of?

If that isn't a rule on the trading post, it should be.

It's a main rule on a lot of forums. Stops people selling watches that are still in service or sitting at a jewlery store with some story attached to it.

Sell the watch you have in your hands. Just that simple...

Actually, comply with the rules of the forum you are selling at - viewtopic.php?f=3&t=530

The fact that you don't agree with them doesn't give you the right to crap all over someone else's post.

Just that simple...

Umm.......

8. "Please ensure that all watches/watch-related items you post for sale are in your possession. The sales forum is designed for private individuals to sell items they own, not for links to other watches/items being sold elsewhere".

Hey, if you want to let shady sales posts stay up under your watch as a MODERATOR, so be it.

Your call and Your problem when someone gets ripped off...

Thank you for allowing to moderate, that's very kind of you especially given your stellar history here.

My interpretation of that rule is for a requirement not to sell watches as an agent - hence the request for pictures that I made, and which Sharkman expanded on suggesting screen name, etc.

The seller has no chance of selling the watch without providing those pictures as has been pointed out.
