Post subject:  New Bracelet Under Warranty

A few weeks ago my CSO came back from a maintenance service. On its return I asked the AD add a link to the bracelet which they happily did. On returning home it seemed that the AD had put the link on the wrong side of the bracelet as the clasp was not entered on my wrist. The next time I was near my AD I asked them to rectify which , again, they happily agreed to do. During this process a screw was broken/link damaged. (i suspect that the reason the link was put on the wrong side in the first place was due to a recalcitrant screw). The AD stated they would order parts from Breitling and sort it out for me. Breitling decided they wanted the watch back to do the work themselves so another trip back to the AD. Today I received an e-mail to say that Breitling no longer have the parts for the Pro 1 bracelet and would be replacing the entire bracelet with a Pro 2 free of charge.

Now had I decided to the the bracelet alteration myself it may have been a slightly different story. Full marks to BUK on this occasion. A good service in respect of my 11 year old CSO.

My CSO is now back, new Pro III bracelet fitted under warranty and the old Pro I returned as well. So, BUK provided me with a brand new Pro III free of charge following a link on the the original Pro I being broken by the AD who were adjusting my bracelet. I can't quite believe this. Has anyone heard of such exemplary service by BUK? All this for my 11 year old CSO? My partner thought I was joking until she came with me to the AD to collect the watch.

that is quite extreme but, as i said somewhere else on this very forum, i have only praise for BUK and their customer service...
very good example of what service you should expect and get from such a brand... unfortunately so rare these days!
enjoy...

It has certainly reinforced my brand loyalty.
