Right now I have a brushed Pro 2 bracelet on my Super Ocean Steel Fish. I got a great deal on a white faced Avenger, but with a strap, not a bracelet. The Steel Fish will be getting retired when this arrives, but wanted to know what services, if any are available from AD's, Breitling, or jewelers out there that can turn my brushed Pro 2 into a polished Pro 2? Can it be done?

The other question is are the end links different from the Steel Fish and Avenger?

Thanks!

Can't speak to polishing. Surely the endlinks are different. Good place to start is here:

My couple of attempts to run down endlinks suggests they cost a lot more than you might expect. Good luck.

The end links are definitely different.

In terms of polishing a brushed bracelet then yes of course it can be done. Anyone with a polishing wheel (or even a Dremel with an appropriate head, compound and a bit of skill) could do it. Hell, you could even do it by hand with enough patience, elbow-grease and lifetime supply of Cape-Cods!

But TBH, a jeweller/watch repairer with the correct tools (and skill) would always be the best bet. Breitling themselves will never do it, and a Breitling AD would be unlikely to encourage it as Breitling don't take kindly to watch modifications, but there are a lot of independent jewellers and watch-repairers out there with the ability to polish watches. If you struggle to find anyone locally to you, then somewhere like International Watch Works would definitely be able to do it for you.

I've gone the other way: from polished to brushed. Not hard either way. But expect to spend north of $100 on end links.

Are the end links removable? I know they are on the Navi bracelets and not removable on the Pilot.
Not sure about the Pro.

Yep, removable. I had a polished Pro 2 for an Airwolf and brushed it, then bought new end links for my SOSF.

Finding end links seems to be quite difficult that's for sure.

Hmm. I bought mine from an AD here in Australia. You also see them on the bay from time to time.
