After watching a video on you tube of one ive noticed that its not spinning as freely as it should, it seems to stop in about half the time that the ones on the youtube videos stop in. Is there any oil or anything that i can put on the spindle or bearing that will make it swing for a bit longer?

Non serviceable by consumers as far as I know. The weight of the watch will affect how long it swings for and as long as it's winding the watch I wouldn't be concerned.

Ok thanks, will see how it goes as it did stop on the 15 minute cycle so ive got it on the 10 minute cycle now so will see what happens as it will be an absolute pain if it stops on that as it will cost a fortune to send it back to America from the UK.
