Hi guys,

Good to be back! I know I have not posted much in a while, work and the family have left me just about zero personal time! But I have been planning on doing a few reviews again and hope to be active again soon. I think my next review will be of my new Kadloo watch winders, I have been in the market for a nice set of winders for a while and I wanted something that looked good and functioned well, I always could find a few that caught my eye with the only concern being prices. Most models I found where in the 10K + range, however after some serious searching I found these Kadloss watch winders at 2500 USD for two 8 watch winders. The German engineering shows in winders themselves and the beautiful laqueer wood cabinet looks far more expensive than it is. initially bought two to test out and once I live with them for a couple of months and confirm that they will be my system will start stacking these.

My wife was actually very pleased with them as well as it gave her a chance to organize the mess in my watch cabinet, she got my Marina Militare box and the wolf winder and a few ends and pieces and made me a little watch altar! I really enjoy opening up the cabinet to the new view now! A detailed STOC is in order and I will be getting to that as well soon. In the mean time I keep my Patek and APs on the righ winder, with the left one housing various pieces such as my RG Transocean, Jaegers, IWC, Cartier, Glashutte, etc. The display drawer at the top contains my Rolex and base Panerai collection, with more Panerais in the Marina Militare box. The Wolf winder has a couple of Datejusts in the winders and a bunch of affordable watchs in the non visible drawer (Sinn, Oris, Seiko, etc)

Now for a few crappy iPhone pics to give you guys an idea, I will be posting better quality pictures and videos soon as well as a detailer report and review.

Hi Altair,

Nice collection of watches! And the winders look great but I'm a big Buben & Zorweg fan...

Yes they make fantastic watch winders, but I would rather spend the 32K Euro on a nice watch myself

Yeah, I know they don't come cheap but those are IMO the best and most beautifull watch winders. The materials used to make them are top notch and they are made with extreme attention to detail. But, as you said, they're pricy...

Yes I agree, I looked into them and actually saw them in person in Dubai, they are made like fine Italian furniture with obviously no expense spared in the material and workmanship, the people who buy them are the same people who buy super yachts and use them twice a year though as they are priced competitively to say the least, up until I found the Kadloo the alternatives where the cheaply made ones such the ones on Amazon for around 300 USD but looked horrible. These cabinets however look excellent and function extremely well yet are priced very reasonably in my opinion, for 10% of the price you get 80% of the quality of the Buben models and no sense of compromise like you do with the Chinese ones. I also had a Kadloo watch box and have to say I am extremely impressed with the company!

Good to see you back Altair!

I've looked at these in the past but never actually picked any up - $2,500 for 16 heads is pretty darn good though, guess I need to keep my eyes peeled! Like the PAM models too - ships that is

2500?? Good grief. I've spent that much on one 8 watch winder that's it nearly as nice as those two. As for the collection, I just shielded my eyes.

Altair! Good to see you back again!

I saw your post in mrcheatle's thread yesterday, and was going to ask about your SOTC, but wasn't sure if it was a fleeting visit or not, so it's good to have you back again.

Those Kadloo winders look pretty damn nice. Too rich for my blood as I'm a notoriously stingey git when it comes to winders - Orbita Spartas are as far as I go! - but I can certainly appreciate the obvious quality. BUT, for some reason I was strangely distracted by the content of those winders than the winders themselves! As always a fantastic collection and I'm looking forward to seeing and hearing about them in more detail.

Welcome back Altair!
Although I was not around here before you decided to go AWOL I have certainly read your contributions as I browsed through the last five or so years of post on this forum and I have wondered on a few occassions what happened to members like Altair :-)
Thanks for the post as I have been looking out for good quality multi-head winders at a reasonable price. These Kaldoos might just do the trick.
Fantastic collection you have there by the way and I'm certainly looking forward to your future posts!
