I imagine I just need to replace the spring bars. But it seems that when I am wearing my pro II the spring bar comes out of the hole when I am wearing for a long period of time. This only happens to one side of the bracelet.

Has this happened to anyone? Do ADs have spring bars lying around?

I had this problem once on my Navitimer after it came back from service at BUSA. The service center in NYC had to order another springbar for me and that fixed it. Maybe an AD might have them in stock.

ADs should have them, it sounds like a damaged spring that isn't holding the pin in the springbar hole.

Note that as well as the right lug width, springbars come in two different sizes: bracelet bars are 1.5mm thick and strap bars are 1.8mm thick. You'd expect an AD to know that but knowledge is power eh.

Thanks TomP. I have another set that came with my pro diver. I might have switched them out by accident. I will take a look. Thank you.

If your using the strap pins to hold on the bracelet this could explain the popping out

the bracelet spring bars are thinner with a pointed tip but can also be used to fit a strap without issue

I have photos of spare strap spring bars if you need for reference - they have a flat tip and are slightly thicker

Lenny.

Would you please post the pics? I believe I have the right pins in there now. But it is still kind of hard to tell to the naked eye. Thanks in advance.

I took a look this morning because the bracelet came off at the top end on one side gain. Turned out I still had the rounded end spring bar in there. I put the pointed one in. Thanks for the tip Lenny. I think I am good to go now.

Thanks everyone for help and feedback as always
