I had a question on the mechanics involved in resetting a chronograph. Its often talked about how the chronograph is disconnected from the going-train when it is stopped (through a clutch), but I was wondering if the second hand and minute hand of the chronograph are also disconnected from each other. It seems like if they are linked at all, there would be problems when you use the reset pusher.

There is no direct link between them if that is what you are asking.
