Well I was adjusting the time and date on my Panerai 328 to atomic time, and once I pushed the crown back I noticed he hour hand was off by 15 or so minutes. I've tried everything I could to try and get it back but it keeps going to the same spot. Here's a pic to show what I mean.

Not sure what happened, but perplexed as to what to do next.

Not sure how it would have occurred but looks like the running train 'jumped' a tooth on the hour wheel (assuming that it wasn't like it before) - it will need service attention to fix.

Thanks Roff. I emailed the dealer and waiting to hear back. It will probably have to go to OP for service, hopefully won't take too long.

Well thankfully it still had factory warranty left so the 328 wS shipped to Panerai, and should hear back in a day or two the diagnosis and eta of when I should get it back.

Bummer to have it go back so soon after getting it. Nice that it is still under warranty. Time to strap on the yellow SW. Best of luck with service. I got my wife's Cartier back form service and it looks day one brand new. Amazing!

Thanks, I was changing the straps on the Seawolf when you posted. I hope it doesn't take too long, I've read some horror stories about taking like 6 months or something. I hope that's not the case.

Well just got an email from DFW watches. They had to send my watch to OP to get a partial service, which is great because the warranty will cover the work, and I believe they are going to refinish the case and bracelet for me, plus it will extend the warranty by an extra year. They said it would take 4-6 weeks but may be quicker.

Sometimes bad things turn out better than you think. Good luck.

Getting it back tomorrow! Matt from DFW let me know that it's back from service and headed back to me. Much faster than I expected, can't wait to get it back!

Man that was quick...good deal as I am missing pix of it. You have to be missing the actual watch. Hope it is perfect.

Thanks man, it's actually been running great since I got it back, and I ordered a couple OEM straps for it that should arrive in a few days.
