Hi All, I've got a 1940's (1945 I think) Omega, not sure what model it is (see picture) and the main spring has broken. Does anyone recognise this movement and could maybe recommend a mainspring for it? Chris |

I've been having a quick look on the internet with the serial number (10441223) I believe its 1944, and the movement is either 100, 260 or 280. I think it might be the 100. still not sure on a main spring though. Chris |

Ask any watchmaker and they can look it up in Bestfit. Don't have my copy in the office but will try and look it up on the weekend if I remember. |

Would be great if you could have a look for me, don't really get the opportunity to go anywhere bar work when the local jewellers are open. |

Hope it is fixed by now If not, my supply house lists mainsprings for 100, 260 and 280. They are all different. |

Finally got around looking at this and with a bit know knowledge I stripped the movement down completely and can see it is a 28 Cal. Unfortunately I cannot find any information out about them other than its a slim line version of the 30mm manually wind movement but has no interchangeable parts and later went on to be the 360 cal. |
