I have just received my Navitimer GMT with B04 movement and was wondering to set date if it is ok to wind the hour hand back to the date you wish to set or can you only move it forward. The instructions seem to suggest you can do it either way but thought I would double check.

I believe the B04 is designed to allow the date to be moved both backwards and forwards by means of the hour hand. It's a nice feature to have on a GMT.
