I'm all for it! :yeahthat

If it would be a Steinhart again, I can offer to organize some of the work directly with them. 8)

Sorry guys, not anytime soon! For one thing I am absolutely beat and another LE will simply take too much time and effort. And I doubt Gunter would give us another LE in the same year, so far we are the only forum who has had 2 LEs in the same year. Also I dont think enough people want a third LE.

Lets let it die down and see what happens in 2011

I'm sure that single-handedly organising a 3rd LE so soon would consign you to the funny-farm, Altair!

But guys - there's plenty of other boutique manufacturers out there if someone wants to pick up the baton! :poke:

I may be willing. MAYBE. I talked with Chris from Wilson Watch Works for a half hour the other day about designing a piece for me. Take a look at his website and see if there would be any interest.

I do like their classic watch with the small seconds and display case back. Not too big a fan of the Pilot watches. The only issues I have are that most of them are 42mm and there is nothing at all on the dial other than the hour markers, just looks like it's missing something.

How about a USA based watch company like Kobold? I'll send them an email.

WIlson Watch Works is USA based. That being said. He may do something like a 44-47 mm case. I like their classics too. I dont like their pilots. Just having done a pilot LE I think a classic would be a nice touch.

I own one of Wilson Watch Works pieces, and his stuff is great. He doesn't really do any printing on dials or engraving on cases the last I checked, however... and most of his stuff can be custom made one-offs anyway? He uses German made cases, the same ones that Tourby uses and sources his dials from Switzerland I believe.

Now that's an interesting idea. I am a Kobold fan.

Nelson, I think your statement is 100% correct. I actually talked with Chris for a half hour on the phone a while back and was a really nice guy to chat watches with and will def be giving him some of my business in the near future. As for the Kobold, I would def entertain the offer of a LE from them.
