Here is my very short review of an iconic watch that I’m sure everyone has heard of. I’m going to start by saying that in person this is one stunning watch, it has great wrist presence and it is one serious looking tool watch. The thing that surprised me was how wearable this watch is given its size and weight. I used to own a black dial with Arabic numbers but I have to say that I really like the baton dial. My old Seawolf was on a Pro II bracelet which felt like I was wearing a block of steel on my wrist, so I ended up selling it.

Now that I have started wearing leather straps, I decided to give the watch another shot, man I’m glad I did. It has what I would describe as a pastel blue dial which is offset with applied baton markers. I have ordered a blue leather strap as well as a 20mm Breitling tang. Right now I have it on a bomber jacket leather strap which looks pretty good but I think the blue on blue will look spectacular.

The one and only complaint I would have is the fact that I feel the handset is a little on the thin side. I knew this before buying the watch since I did had one before. That said, the lume is pretty impressive.

Here are the specs and images. Thanks for looking.

Excellent! I agree, the baton dial is the way to go with this model.

Thanks Ray, I just wasn't feeling the bomber jacket strap so I put a rally strap on until the blue one comes in.

I'm reminded once again that nobody does blue as well as Breitling.
