I have a super avenger that i have neglected for a long time ( 1.5 years) and now that i took it out the box and tried to wind it, i cant get the crown to turn. The last time i wore it i might have twisted it so that it was a bit tight but now that it has been sitting it's hard to turn? Has anyone had this problem before? And if so whats the easiest way to go about this? Thanks in advance...

Could be any number of issues from just being stuck to being cross threaded. I would take it to an AD with a watchmaker. If they can't do it then they can take the caseback off and loosen the crown stem to make life easier.

While stating the obvious, I assume you haven't forgotten to unscrew the screwdown down crown .
