Members,

Bought my first nice watch from AuthenticWatches.com. I read up plenty of the pros/cons of grey market, and watch was appraised by a jeweler and is legit.

Anyway, watch was tracking 8 seconds fast per day. I sent it in, it was adjusted, and initially fine... (maybe 2 seconds slow per day). Two weeks later, it’s now tracking about 10 seconds slow per 24 hours of normal use. AW said they’ll fix it again, but I asked if this continues, what happens? They said there’s no such thing as a “lemon” watch, and they’d continue to fix it, but never replace it.

As a rookie to the luxury watch game, I’m not educated enough to challenge him. Is this true, and in line with what others have experienced?

If I continue to have issues, can I call AMEX saying I was sold a faulty watch and reverse payment?

Thanks!

Sounds like Breitling need to take a look, but I guess you don't have a Breitling warranty. I would be looking for a refund.
