I inherited a Breitling reference B13050 and it had a Blue Dial. We went to Aruba for a week and I wore it regularly in the sun, I did not think this would be an issue since my grandfather lived in Florida. The other issue is that he was sick the last 10 years of his life and did not wear or service the watch. I can't imagine that a week could discolor a dial from Blue to Gray and I have never seen a "tropic" dial Breitling like you find in vintage rolexes. The 15 marker at the crown also came off as did another screw on the outer bezel
I actually do like the color and do not plan on selling it ever since its now a family heirloom.
No idea what to do? I am sure Breitling wont do anything about it other then charge me half the cost of the value of the watch to change the dial.
Is this normal or has anybody ever seen something like this?
I am new to this forum and know tha tI have no contributed to the site in any way, but I appreciate any information and help. Thanks.
