Do we often see misprinted sliderules from the factory back in the 1980s? The red 35 is clearly out alignment.

I dont see it ?
turn the sliderule counterclockwise till the 60 red triangle hits the large white triangle (12 o clock) and they all align ?

Sorry, should have been more specific. I meant the printing of the red arrow at 36, which does not line up with the corresponding black 36 line.

So, based on just what can be seen in the following pictures (dial, slide rule, markers, lume, hands and bezel), which is the best example?

Number 1:

Number 2:

Number 3:

I like No 1 best , lume overall matches (dial and hands)
and dial / sliderule condition I like better than he other 2

personal preference of course

OTOH the subdial hands on No 3 I like better , I would need to research of the long or short hands are original (or maybe they both are)

these post 1980 models are not my forte !

We had a similar discussion once before. I think both are, or perhaps the longer sub-dial hands are later service replacements. During that last discussion I posted a picture of an original Breitling magazine advertisement clearing showing the smaller hands.

I think the history and model details of the early days of the Schneider era are a bit lost (despite the best efforts of some to find out), partly because it was right in the midst of the quartz crisis and there were a lot of quartz models made in response that now are not particularly popular. However, as with many collectables, when interest is high in one area and prices are rising, sometimes the smart money moves to the more overlooked areas.
