Just bought a pre-owned Blacksteel Chronomat 44 (MB0111C3/BE35-253S) with Breitling 20mm Blacksteel Deployment Buckle (M20D2). I have read that those straps need to or can be cut to be resized so I just ordered a new strap for it because it was a bit tight. Same military canvas/rubber one that comes with the watch. So im looking at the clasp/buckle and I don't see how to remove it on the one side from the strap. The side with the push down slide adjustment feature. There is no sign of a push-pin or anything. Im new to the Breitling game and I fell in LOVE with this piece and finally found one at a amazing price. I've searched the web for videos but couldn't find anything on this strap and buckle. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you look inside the clasp where the slide adjuster sits, the strap is held in there by a spring bar. You need to insert a forked spring bar tool between the rubber strap and the clasp and then compress the rubber to reveal the spring bar. It's a bit tricky to get the first time but not too difficult. I use a small screwdriver to compress the rubber so that I can then get the spring bar tool in.

And of course welcome to the forum, post a pic of your new acquisition for us to drool over........
