With respect to pricing on a pre-owned watch the normal advice is to check the sold listings on eBay, they will give you an idea of what similar pieces have sold for. You could also check listings on Chrono24 for similar watches, however keep in mind that these are asking prices and you may have to factor in the cost of a service if your watch has not been serviced considering that it is almost 20 years old!

Check the model number that is engraved on the back. Then go to Chrono24 and check the prices that are being asked. Then check on ebay the prices of those that have been sold by viewing the 'sold' listings. This will give you an idea of what to expect. Look for watches in the same sort of condition as yours. If your watch has the original boxes and paperwork then it will be more desirable and therefore of greater value. Condition and originality are important and any servicing history will also make it more desirable.

Thanks for the replies guys, the number is D13050.1 but there are a lot of variations out there still. Does the gold/stainless steel bracelet add a significant amount to the price?

I am thinking about £1800, is that about right for it to go quickly? I'm glad I check, I was going to let it go for around a grand.
