Hi, I've had my Colt Auto for 7 years, and this is now the fourth time the bezel has broken. Ref possibility of corrosion, I don't wear it for sport and I've never gone underwater with it.

I'm sick of having to keep sending it off for 1-2 months to be fixed.

Do you have any recommendations about contacting Breitling direct to have them replace the watch? My local retailer just shrugs...

Can't imagine Breitling taking back a 7 yr old watch. What specifically is breaking ? Pics would help the more knowledgeable here help.

I unscrew the bezel to wind the watch, and it just comes off, without any part of the screw attached. Four times in 7 years. First time was two weeks after the 2-year warranty expired. I kinda figured the fact it keeps happening might be something they care about enough to want to do something about...?

I assume you mean crown rather than bezel. Occasional reports of them coming off but never heard of the same watch failing four times so dollars to doughnuts Breitling will say it's a user issue.
