Hello,

I'm wondering if anyone can tell me that if I read the owners manual correctly. On the Professional B50, do I set the winder that I bought to "both" because the watch is "bidirectional". Also according to the manual, I should have received a charging cord with the watch?

thanks

It doesn't go on a winder as it's a quartz watch. You should have received a USB charging cable and mains adapter. The watch is powered by a rechargeable Li-ion battery. Charging takes place through two contacts located at 9 o’clock, on the side of the case, by using the cable. Winders are for automatic mechanical watches.

No need to feel stupid, better to seek advice and get things right. Feel free to seek help here anytime. Enjoy your great new watch and welcome to the forum.

Thanks again for all the explanations. I do have a couple of more questions.

1. After looking at the website, I'm confused with the process of registering the watch, if there is one... Is there something that I need to do with regards to registering the watch?

2. After already buying a winder and since it is a quartz that doesn't require a winder, can I still leave the watch in the winder? Will it cause any damage?

Thanks again.

No registration process, the warranty is all you need.

Leaving the watch on the winder won't hurt but it won't do any good either, may as well try and return the winder.

Better yet just get a Breitling automatic for your winder. A Breitling automatic mechanical and a quartz complement each other nicely.
