Post subject:  Aerospace E56061 Hands Issue Advice

Apologies, for asking for help as a first timer here. I recently purchased an Aerospace E56061 from an auction (no not that site!). The watch is in pretty decent shape for what was clearly an everyday wearer.

However, there is one fault clouding everything which is that the hands stick at various random points after :37 past the hour (or so) round to past :00. When you fast advance or rewind the hands they will move quickly around the right part of the dial but not the left (they stick basically). The hands will not sync to the minute on the left side of the dial at all. They do sync and advance properly around :15 and :30 minutes past in time with the digital display.

Any thoughts on what the fault may be and the possibilities for remedy?

Many thanks,

Adam

Welcome to BreitlingSource. Something in the running train and / or dial setting is bent, it will need service attention.

Thanks for the reply.
SOLVED - the caseback was on skew whiff. There are bevels on the back for the battery and alarm resonator so the movement was potentially under pressure. Plus there is a cut out for the stem so this may have not have been turning freely for the fast turns. Hands are now gliding around nicely in sync.
