It is hard to get a good photo but there are black-colored, ink-stain-looking imperfections that appear to be under the bottom half of the crystal. Has anyone seen this or have any idea what it is? Guessing it is just a replacement ring that was in bad condition? I'm just hoping it's not mold or something, so seeing if anyone has seen something like this before.

I'm not sure what it is but it looks like it isn't difficult to get just this Tachymeter ring so I'll go that route. |

Is it on the ring, or on the inner side of the glass? It could be a problem with the AR coating. Any watchmaker should be able to pull the bezel to see what is going on. Getting the new ring could be difficult if that is that problem. Breitling will not sell you one. They will insist that you send the watch to them. |
