Hey guys,

Just received my new Navitimer Bracelet for my Navitimer Olympus. The Endlinks are right for the model (441A) and they both fit just fine at 12 o'clock. At 6 o'clock the endlink didn't fit! I had to push out the lugs a bit carefully with a tool so that the endlink fit in there. And then, I had to push..

Obviously something is wrong, maybe one of the lugs was hit somehow? It's not noticeable visually, we are talking about 0.1 or 0.2 mm.

Anyways I installed the bracelet but it's not very practical if I want to change from bracelet to strap. l'll post some pics later of this beauty!

I have to send the watch for refurb anyways in January and i'll ask them to look at the lugs specifically.. but any comments are appreciated.

thank you!

Never happened to anyone?

I've never heard of this. It would take one hell of a knock to bend a lug so I'd suspect the end link may be deformed in some way. Did you try switching the end links round to check if it was the lug or the end link?

I did. It's not the endlink, i've tried switching them sides and also tried other 22mm endlinks. All fit at 12 but very very tight at 6.

Similar thing happened to my son's Tissot. He was wearing it on leather strap when one of the pins gave up and watch hit the floor.

Visually, it was OK and nothing was broken but when I tried to put the bracelet on, it barely fit on the 6 o'clock side because lug was hit on the inner edge and it was barely noticeable.

I took the watch to local watchmaker and he polished just a little bit on the inside of the lug (also barely noticeable) and now everything fits as it should.

Alright sounds like it might be that. Thank you
