Another date question:

I manually adjusted the date yesterday morning at 9 am. However, this morning I still had the 1st (of December). Shouldn't it have switched to the 2nd last night???

I adjusted it now to the 2nd at 7 am today. Right now at 12.12 pm it has not switched to the third, so I should be correct with am/pm (if you know what I mean).

I did not mess around with the time, I did not do it between 8 pm and 3 am.

I just hope it's switching the 3rd tonight. Or do I have to worry?

Don't know about 44cal, but it should 'remember' was it AM or PM when you switched the date. It probably won't set by itself, so just set it by moving the hands forward.

No problems with potential damage to the movement, whenever I'm setting a watch I always set it to the day before and then wind time forward - that way you know your am / pm is right.

Thanks for the replies. I was worried I had damaged the mechanism but fortunately the date switched last night. I can now confirm it is the 3rd of December. :D

Still don't understand why it didn't switch from the first to the 2nd since the hands passed twice through 12 o'clock.
