Good morning Gents

I'm looking at getting my 12 year old Navitimer Fighters in for a major service but am unsure what the movement is. Is it a Chronograph or Breitling Caliber movement.

Now there is around £100 difference in the service costs between the two so just wanted to make sure.

The watch is more or less pristine as I only wear it on my days off (I have a superocean II as a daily) and it keeps time accurately when I do wear it but it's been near enough 10 years since its last service.

Thanks in advance.

Dan.

I believe Breitling Caliber refers to the newest, entirely in-house movements, like B01 and its derivates.
If I'm not mistaking, Navitimer Fighters is a B13, based on a Valjoux 7750, and therefore shouldn't fall under "Breitling Calibers". The appropriate place would be under "Chronographs".

Your belief is correct.
It is not a Breitling Caliber movement.
The first Navitimer to be equipped with Breitling Caliber movement was the Navitimer 01 Limitd Edition in 2010 to be followed by the standard Navitimer 01 a few months later.
