Hi guys!

Been a long time since I've posted, but got a question in regards to servicing my old Chronomat.

I understand it's £175 for a service on it, but in getting Breitling to do this, if they come across any issues with the watch, do they call you to go over the problems, before going ahead with them and if the watch is working ok at the moment(maybe slow by a few seconds a week), what would or COULD be the normal wear and tear items they would end up wanting to replace?

Also, the service statement says they clean up the case a bit...how much of a clean up are we talking exactly? I don't figure they'll get rid of scratches, but just a general buff up?

Many thanks
David

Breitling offers a simple maintenance service and a full overhaul.
If your old Chronomat has not had a recent service, I very much doubt they will offer a maintenance service at 175 quid. I'm sure they will insist on a complete overhaul .
Breitling offers 12 month warranty on their service and unless the watch is fairly new or has been overhauled in the last couple of years, they will insist on full overhaul and that will be at least double of what you are quoting.
Breitling refurbishement is excellent. I've had a few pieces overhauled and a couple looked as if they have been dragged through hills, valleys and rivers.
Came back looking and working like new.
Yes, you will get (or you should expect) a full quotation with mandatory and optional items.
