Hi all.

I just looked at a SuperOcean Professional that had the model number A17345 on the case back along with the chronometer certification stuff and B logo, but no serial number.

I thought this was odd. Isn't the serial number on all modern Breitlings engraved on the case back?

Originally yes, but it could have been removed by over polishing. Grey market dealers also used to commonly remove serial numbers, although it's unusual these days.
