Hi

I have stumbled over threads regarding the tool needed for changing the bracelets many times before, but now that I need one, I don´t seem to find them. I have bought a Diver Pro strap for my Emergency and would like to be able to change the bracelets on my own. Could someone please help me with a link to someone who sell these tools?

Thanks,

Mats

You need a Bergeon 6767F.

Most trusted source that I know of (regardless of where you are) is www.watchtool.co.uk

Thank you Roffensian. It was actually the 6825 I was looking for, but it cost a bit more than I recalled. So it is possible to use the 6767F, and do one side of the spring at a time?

I use a 6767F, tried a 6825 and didn't like it, but to each their own - many swear by it.

Take a look at admin's videos of changing a strap. Don't recall if it was a Bergeon, but he does one side at a time.

I use the Bergeon 6825-PF when taking off/on my Pro II bracelet, and the Bergeon 6111 (approx. the same as the Bergeon 6767F)
when taking off/on my leather or Ocean Racer straps.

The 6825-PF is great because it squeezes the springbar in both ends at the same time, so it reduces the chances of small scratches inside the shoulders of your Ling.
The springbars for the steel bracelets are pretty sharp on the end, compared to the springbars for the straps: http://breitlingsource.com/phpBB2/viewt ... pring+bars

I also recommend http://www.watchtool.co.uk
They usually ship the same day !

Best regards,
tigergutt

Tigergutt, since you have the tools, and we both live in Oslo, I´ll just drop by your place the next time :)

Bought my Diver Pro yesterday and the AD changed it for me, but I didn´t get the springbars from the ProII bracelet.

You're welcome .... espesially if you arrive in one of your cars from Stuttgart

Did the AD take your springbars when changing from your Pro II bracelet to Diver Pro .... or didn't they give you a new pair for the Diver Pro ?

best regards,
tigergutt

If they didn't use the old one's from the Pro II, they didn't give me the old one's either. I only got the Pro II bracelet in a little bag without any springbars.

Do I really need different springbars for the different bracelets?

The sprinbars for your Pro II bracelet will probably work fine with your Pro Diver strap.
But the springbars made for the straps, can be difficult to use with the steel bracelet.

I measured my springbars for the OR strap, and they are 24,4mm then squeezed together (my Super Avenger is 24mm between the
shoulders), so these dont fit my Pro II bracelet, because of the endlinks which force the springbars to be installed exactly 90 degree on the watch.

Why they got different shapes .... I dont know.
Maybe one of the experts in this forum can help ?

Best regards,
tigergutt
