Hi,
I just picked up my first Breitling the other day. Ended up with the Navitimer01 with a stainless steel band.

I’ve done some research on setting the date and month… still confused.

Is it as simple as pulling the crown to position 2 – turning clockwise, and the date changes? However I don’t want to be doing this every month.

Is it possible set the month, so the date stays correct month to month.
If so, how do I set it correctly?

Thanks in advance,
Michael

You have to manually change for any month that doesn't have 31 days. This is true for most mechanical movements, only perpetual / semi-perpetual / annual calendar movements are capable of 'knowing' how many days there are in the month.

And yes use position 2 to quick set the date

I would avoid doing it anywhere near midnight when the date would automatically change but that is probably just me being paranoid! :)
